The notified country of the case is the United Kingdom, the product is LED color-changing light bulb and remote control, the serial number is 3WRGBE27, and the industrial classification code in the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development belongs to 78000000 (electrical).
It is reported that the reason for the recall of the product is that the LED bulb and the lamp holder are not fixed firmly, and the live part is easy to be exposed. The product does not meet the requirements of the EU Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN60598. Therefore, enforcement measures for withdrawal from the market and recalls were implemented in Europe.
In addition, a Mexican-made JHBL LED luminaire from Lithonia Lighting was recalled in North America due to being too heavy. The recalled product batch is for all products with a production date between August 2014 and July 2015, and the product is priced at $520. The lamp has a height of 16 inches (about 40 cm), a width of 22 inches (about 56 cm), and weighs about 40 pounds (18 kg). The luminaire is a white painted die-cast piece with 2 inches (about 5 cm) of fins on the body, and the fins on the lamp panel are even 4 inches (about 10 cm) long.
