September 12, 2016 – Innovasic, a leader in deterministic Ethernet semiconductor solutions, introduces a new TSN evaluation kit based on its fido5000 REM switch technology, which includes all the tools needed to evaluate the emerging IEEE 802.1 Time-Dependent Network (TSN) standard features. The kit comes pre-loaded with the most advanced TSN features including 802.1AS and 802.1Qbv. As the TSN standard continues to evolve, users can also download and access the latest features for free through the Innovasic Developer website. The kit supports the following TSN standards and their updates:

· 802.1Qbv – Scheduled Traffic (Update)
· 802.1Qci – Ingress Policing
· 802.1CB – Seamless Redundancy

Using the new Innovasic evaluation kit as a TSN gateway simplifies the TSN evaluation process. Ethernet devices plug into the standard Ethernet port of the kit, and the other two ports connect to the TSN network. The TSN gateway sends or receives a TSN stream to a standard Ethernet device through TSN based information. In this way, standard Ethernet devices can communicate with any TSN device in the TSN network.
