Bluetooth WiFi Combines CSR and Intel to Create a New Realm of PC Connectivity

CSR, a provider of Bluetooth connectivity and wireless technology, has announced that it will work with Intel Corporation to develop a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi integrated solution for the PC market as part of CSR’s ongoing preferred partnership strategy. This will help the new Bluetooth standard to implement new applications and improve the performance of next-generation laptops, netbooks and other mobile devices. The combination of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is designed to help users use PCs to synchronize music, photos, contact information and other content, and it takes only a fraction of the time it takes to perform equivalent operations. The end product will bring tremendous benefits to the computer industry through the combination of CSR industry-leading Bluetooth technology and Intel's market-leading Wi-Fi technology.
