STXsurreal is the immersive content division of STX Entertainment from Robert Simonds, which will work with SFX's Double NegaTIve (DNEG) to fund STX's upcoming original VR series and other planned virtual reality content.
As part of the agreement, DNEG will provide post-production visual effects and 3D conversion services on at least six projects. The show is scheduled to premiere on STX's experiential virtual reality channel in the summer of 2018.
