Sichuan found super-large lithium: this is the lifeblood of electric cars

Now that the new energy vehicles are extremely hot, many giants are desperately shifting to this area, and the development of the industry is limited to batteries, so lithium resources are scarce.

According to a report given by Battery China.com, a super-large lithium deposit has been newly discovered in the Kelyne ore accumulation area in Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, and its resources amount to nearly 520,000 tons. This is one of the few high-grade lithium mines in the country.

With the promotion of new energy industry, the gap between supply and demand for lithium ore will further increase. As a rare resource, many countries are currently in a frenzied spring, and it is said that China is expected to consume more than 40% of the world's lithium.

It is reported that lithium resources are mainly distributed in South America and Australia. Two-thirds of the world's lithium resources are concentrated in South America, while Chile's lithium reserves account for 50% of the world's total. Therefore, many companies in the world have begun to snatch up resources in South America to supplement. According to experts, whoever controls the lithium resource supply chain will control the future of electric vehicles.
