Shanghai Blu-ray becomes the technical standard setter for the domestic semiconductor lighting industry

Recently, the Working Group on Semiconductor Lighting Technology Standards of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a seminar on three standard review drafts in Lingang New City, Pudong New Area. It is understood that as an emerging lighting system, semiconductor lighting still lacks systematic national standards and industry standards in China. Shanghai Blu-ray Technology Co., Ltd. According to reports, LED chips are the core components of LEDs in semiconductor lighting, and LED epitaxial wafers are the front-end products of chips. One of the most popular epitaxial wafers of about 20 mm can be finely processed into 30,000 to 40,000 chips.

It is understood that Shanghai Blu-ray was established in April 2000. It is the first enterprise in China to engage in GaN-based LED epitaxial wafers, chip research and development and industrial production, and the national "863" program in the field of optoelectronics. Pilot companies. At present, Shanghai Blu-ray has applied for more than 70 patents, most of which are invention patents. In 2009, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology initiated the drafting of four standards. Shanghai Blu-ray has undertaken three of them. After more than one year of efforts, Shanghai Blu-ray has completed the working group discussion draft and the draft for comments.

It is reported that based on the revision of the discussion, the final draft of the three standards will be sent to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology before the end of this year.
