On October 20, 2007, 2007 China Lighting Designer Salon Guangzhou was held at the South China University of Technology in Guangzhou. With the theme of “Light in the Eyes of Architects – Architectural Lighting and Lighting Technologyâ€, more than 30 architects from South China were invited. Lighting designers engage in interactive communication. Aladdin Lighting Network participated in the salon as a special media.
Huang Mincong, general manager of Guangzhou Mingshi Lighting Engineering Co., Ltd., presided over the meeting. Taking the light in the eyes of the architect as the theme, Huang Mincong made a 6-point incisive statement at the salon:
First, light is a medium that can be used to reinterpret the material world, but also includes the architecture.
In the vast sea, the stars, the moon and the river, the sun, point us to the direction of progress. We believe that light is the language of architecture. Although the cultural backgrounds vary from place to place, each has its own characteristics, but it is a kind of obstacle without national and cultural barriers. a language that is generally understood.
Just as our ancestors captured light on the horizon, we also worked hard to find a way to understand other countries.
