PLC has the characteristics of high reliability, rich I / O interface modules, modular structure, easy programming and easy installation and maintenance. With the continuous improvement of the automation level of hydropower stations, it is necessary to use PLC fully automatic control of the working process of air compressors, and set up monitoring and alarm devices in the remote operation room to achieve unattended and remote monitoring and alarming on site.
1. The overall requirements of the control system
The PLC automatic control system for the air compressor of the hydropower station shall meet the following requirements:
(1) The power supply of the control system is AC-DC online switching to ensure that PLC data processing and control can work reliably under abnormal conditions (power switching).
(2) The PLC control panel of the high and low pressure gas machine uses pressure feedback as a criterion to realize the automatic start and stop of the air compressor by the local PLC.
(3) The control system should be equipped with I / O modules, central processing modules, communication modules, power modules, analog modules and other equipment required for operation. All modules are solid-state plug-in standardized structural components and should meet the standards of industrial control level and above .
(4) The on-site operating conditions of the power plant must be met, with high stability and anti-interference performance.
